Aluminium Alloy Portable Hardness Tester ASTM B647 Standard With High Accuracy
Features:
A portable instrument which can perform on-site hardness test on soft metals in accordance with American Standard ASTM B647.
Used to check the result of heat treatment and determine if the mechanical performace of the workpiece is acceptable.
Suitable for testing the hardness of aluminium profiles, tubings, sheets and other shapes.
Used for testing the with long or heavy workpieces or assemblies inconvenient to be sent to the labs.
Ideal for qualification inspection on the production site.
Used to test aluminum profiles.
Application
W-20 Webster hardness tester is used to test aluminum profiles on the production site and application. It is used to test the aluminum alloy tubings with inner diameter more than 10mm
Operating Method
Put the specimen between the anvil and the indenter and press down the handle until the bottom is felt. At the time the dial indicator will point at a reading which is the hardness value obtained. Excessive pressure beyond this limit can not damage the tester, but it’s unnecessary. Hold tight the handle when reading the value. Any torsion or move will make the reading incorrect during the test.
